Accreditation and appointments

From study to professional practice

Accreditation: a separate decision

Accreditation requires a separate review of qualifications, competence, practical evidence and category requirements. Its decision defines the issuer, category, scope, validity and renewal conditions. Refer to the current rules and document.

Practice after study

Competence develops through calibration, simulation, practical participation and decision review. The required experience and any post-study period depend on the accreditation category and its rules; no single period is assumed for every applicant.

Appointment: a defined assignment

Selection for an event panel is a separate process. The appointment defines the competition, category, role, responsibilities, start and end dates. Current accreditation does not constitute an open appointment to all events.

Which duration applies? Study: eight months. Practical development: category requirements. Accreditation validity: its decision or card. Appointment: the written event or assignment period.

This pathway concerns competition judging and sensory assessment. Dispute arbitration and mediation are separate services governed by their own terms and agreements.
